About Debbie

Deborah Lyall lives and works in Greely (part of rural Ottawa south) and has a passion for interesting texture, shape and colour. She is a professional decorator and art framer. She also founded an original Fiber Art Studio where she enjoys hand-crafting original artworks in her signature vintage style.

Debbie’s design career began as a decorating consultant and framer, but her passion for her art led to the creation of a small fiber art studio. Debbie’s original fiber art pieces are painstakingly cut and crafted from various fabrics to create original works of art. They were so well-recieved at arts and craft shows that she began experimenting with her designs as patterns and prints for textiles. She embraces the concept of “taking art with you” and soon her work was being purchased to wear. It also began adorning homes with her line of home decor items.

Debbie now enjoys a large social media following and her designs have garnered attention all over the country, with many of her works featured in galleries, gift shops and art stores nation-wide. Debbie’s work can also be found in small local boutiques around the National Capital region. She enjoys promoting businesses like hers that are home-grown and Canadian-made.
